I really liked your advice so decided to take a quick look at your photos.I really love your work, mainly for 3 reasons. 1. You really capture the beauty of the locals in their environments. A British friend of mine and I have had conversations about how Americans tend to have a vision of beauty that's kind of narrow. 2. I love the way you use color. B & W is great, but I love color and pretty much every photo of yours has very vibrant colors- clothes, etc. 3. There is a lot of joy in your photos. I know there are a lot more emotions that can be shot, but personally I like seeing people happy. They obviously make a connection with you- you see the sincerity and authenticity of the moment.I'm looking forward to exploring more of your work and learning from you!Namaste.

David,
I also found you through the post you did on Scott Kelby’s page. I'm 18 and though I have also been shooting since I was 14, I find that your advice to yourself applies to me as well, then and today. After reading your posts (and there are lots of them) on how the gear just makes it a little easier, I have taken it upon myself to shoot more film and think more about each image I take. Thanks for doing what you do! -matt

David,
I really enjoyed your post on Scott’s blog.
