September-October Wallpaper

I’m in India – mostly Ladakh – from September 10 until Sept 27, then in Nepal – mostly Kathmandu – until October 24. I’ll spend much of my time within site of Stupas and prayer flags, and while in Kathmandu will be living not far from this one. Because of my extended absence and the difficulty in posting larger files, I’ve decided to do a rare 2-for-1 wallpaper this month.

Hi David,
what a coincidence… I am leaving for Kathmandu in about 2 weeks and plan to do Ladakh later this year. As I live in India at the moment, both places are quite close for me. Would you be able to share good places for photographers to visit in the Kathmandu area and in Ladakh? Maybe something besides the “normal” tourist spots? I will do at least parts of the Annapurna Trek, so maybe you have some recommendations there as well. Thanks a lot, and hope you have fun traveling and shooting.
