But like you, I too like to buy my gear from a bricks and mortar establihment.I too had some issues (with the IS on a lens) and being able to take it to a local store without having to parcel it up and send it by courier to smewhere far flung, was a great advantage. And when a Hanmel battery got stuck in my 5D, the day before I was due to fly to India, they managed to get it out and provided a replacement.So horray for supporting your local dealer !!
