I recently found your blog and am totally engaged with your comments. This post was of specific interest as I am fortunate to travel to many countries struggling to maintain peace and order. A few months ago, I drove past a popular restaurant that moments later was bombed. Many close calls in my journey’s.

As you suggest, time is precious and you tend to make the most of what you have when your in these fearful situations.
