Saturday night at Cafe de Paris. iPhone with Camera Bag plug-in. She doesn’t love the camera so consents to these things under some duress.
It’s late and I’m heading to bed. I usually write these posts the day before, then schedule them for a 2am publishing time. But this weekend got away on me. My lovely wife took me out Saturday evening, to Cafe de Paris for starters, to CRU for entrees, and to Bacchus for a nightcap. Was a lively way to celebrate meeting (online, thank you very much) seven years ago, and my book coming out. Really lovely. Then Sunday evening we spent playing Zombies with friends. Monday and Tuesday I’m heading up the coast for a two-day writing retreat which means my second book is officially underway, and on Wednesday I’m stirring up trouble over at Scott Kelby’s place. I’ll try posting something tomorrow but I’ve promised myself I’d knuckle down and get writing. You wouldn’t believe the deadline I have on this next book. All this to say, uh, it could be light here for a couple days. Check in tomorrow and then follow the link that I’ll post on Tuesday night to take you to Scott’s blog.
Hope you all had a great weekend. Thanks for your patience.
Very cool. Nothing better than a supportive partner. But, “playing zombies”? It is Monday and I may be slow but what is that?
LOL – Zombies is just a board game. Played with friends, snacks, and some red wine it’s a lovely way to spend an evening. Also, there are Zombies. BWAAAAAIIINNNNNZZZZ!
Well the camera sure loves her! Lovely shot. But David, really, I’ve not read the FIRST book yet…you little over achiever you. Enjoy the dedicated writing time.
Ah, she is so pretty. I miss you guys!
Sounds like you’re pretty busy these days. Good luck.
