Italy Within The Frame
August 16th, 2009I’m really excited to finally be able to announce a new workshop and tour for 2010. It’s ITALY WITHIN THE FRAME, a one-week workshop & tour in the beautiful Italian Riviera with myself and Jeffrey Chapman. Limited to only 8 participants, this one is going to be one of the highlights of my year. If you’ve ever seen images of this region, you know what a visual treat this is going to be. I’ve had many, many requests for a tour that’s less down and dirty than the India trips, something shorter, and something closer to Europe or North America. So here it is. The initial information is up on the site – take a look and then get back to Jeffrey Chapman, via the website, for more information.
If you’ve been wanting to join me for a week of shooting without going to the developing world, or getting malaria; if red wine and good food in spectacular places are more your speed, then this one’s going to be unforgettable. More information on the website HERE.

Hey, I just went to those places in may. They are all unbelievably fantastic.
I could hang out in Vernazza forever and San Fruttuoso is an amazing gem.
If I could only win the Lottery then that would be my dream week. Fingers crossed . . .
Living north in Switzerland we just came back this weekend from our first trip to Tuscany region and a visit to the Etruscan coastline.
Not only are the views amazing, the quality of light is fantastic.
Wish I could join you. April will be a good month for your workshop (NOT the summer!).
wow, looks like an amazing trip (right around my birthday too), Italy is such a wonderful place. I wish I had the money to go. Oh well.
Oh I’d LOVE to join you both. Any horses there?
Actually Lisa, my former horse isn’t too far away. Calvin is enjoying a very, very early retirement in Piedmont.
I spent a week here in 2007, and cannot wait to go back with a better camera and a more specific goal. Seriously one of my favorite places on the planet, and I would be there in a heartbeat if I could afford it.
How experienced do you have to be? Cinque Terre is one of the places I’m going in September on my Italy trip . I know I will want to go back and do more, especially as I progress with knowledge. I’m also going to be taking classes at Focal Point…. xoxo Nat

I’ve been there and it is indeed awesome! It’s a must to eat gelato every day. Just saying…
