Join us on CreativeLIVE today.

July 23rd, 2010

Good morning, folks. It’s 9:50am on Friday the 23rd here in Seattle. We’re almost an hour away from going live on the CreativeLIVE VisionDriven Photography weekend. I’d tell you I’m excited – which I am – but I think the overriding emotion right now is something more like terror. Lots of deep yogic breathing going on over here. :-)

Anyways, this is going to be a blast and I’d love to have you there. So – find us HERE at the CreativeLIVE site. You can join us there, sign up to be part of the course, pre-purchase the downloads, even get in on the twitter contest/giveaways for some Think Tank Photo gear, copies of the Vision Trilogy, OnOne Software Plug In suites, and a GIGANTIC canvas of your work from Artistic Photo Canvas.

For those joining us, you can post images to the Flickr group HERE.

You can tweet your questions on Twitter with #AskDavid

The Craft & Vision eBooks discount is 20% off a purchase of 5 or more PDF eBooks at the Craft & Vision site HERE with the discount code: VISIONDRIVEN – This discount is valid until midnight on Sunday the 25th.

OK, I gotta run, but join us! Because #1 It’s free to watch and participate and if it’s a great workshop, then HEY! FREE WORKSHOP! And if it all falls apart, then HEY! FREE TRAINWRECK! :-)   See you soon! :-)

I didn’t get to catch the entire session, but what I was in on was fantastic! What an encouraging and motivating class. I love how down to earth you are, David. Thank you so much for what you shared. I’m looking forward to the rest of this course.

BRAVO, you did a great job.
Hang in there, I can’t wait for tomorrow.
You are helping a lot of people.
Vision is supposed to be frustrating, what a reevaluation.
    You Rock!

Enjoyed this mornings session. Even though I’ve read your books, just hearing you say and expound on vision has helped me to better understand my own self and my vision. I’ll be working through the 3 exercises that you gave. Thank you so much for sharing. Looking forward to the next 2 days.

Sounds like it was amazing. Unfortunately there were a lot of us who couldn’t get the signal, both for the live session and the replay. Cheering you on anyway :)

I’m just blown away, David. This has been a very inspiration seminar. Although, from one introvert to another, how did you get so comfortable at this?

Super cool workshop, David. You made me think outside my comfort zone. AND I got of my lazy booty tonight and shot some night photos (first time of me). Was it scary? Yup! Are they great? nope, but I tried something new :) – Thanks.

Hi David. Long time reader, first time poster.

I just wanted to thank you for the wonderful weekend on CreativeLIVE. You definitely did not disappoint! I didn’t get to see all of it, but based on your e-books and your Vision books, I pre-purchased the downloads before the weekend even started. I’ll be watching the few pieces I missed over the coming days.

Coincidentally, as Craig introduced you on Friday, and the audience started applauding, my doorbell rang. It was the UPS truck with my copy of Vision&Voice. No joke!

Enjoy your coming trip(s), I hope to be joining you on one next year! A boat in Croatia sounds like a lot of fun to me!

I watched all that I could… despite my internet going down. I feel so inspired… and yet terrified… where to start?! lol

I missed the last two hours, it’s Sunday… church, only to find that David discuss one of my images I submitted on Flickr. Which, btw, I was hope hope hoping he would.

I have to say, I am very honored and curious as to what was said… I guess I’ll find out soon after I download the video.

Thank you so much… this was such a great idea.

One word…BRAVO!! I was there for all three days, rewatched day one a couple of times, purchased the videos just a little bit ago, so I haven’t been able to download them yet, but the weekend spent watching, listening, absorbing, being inspired was so worth it. I’ve been blabbing on and on about it to whoever would listen (I don’t tweet). Again…BRAVO!

David, the Vision workshop was inspiring, informative and totally applicable to my work. I loved your authentic sharing of your work and experiences, your sense of humor, and your ability to guide us through this diificult to define subject matter. I have been awed and inspired by your first two books and look forward to purchasing the third in the trilogy. Thank you for sharing your time and experience to help us develop our vision.

I was able to watch part of Saturday and Sunday’s workshop, and was amazed at how enlightened I became, while listening to you as we all interacted with the photographs you chose to discuss.

I remember many years ago when someone did this for me with classical music. Listening to the sounds has never been the same, in fact it became more enjoyable in the ensuing years. I feel a similar awakening looking at photographs, thanks to your ever so inspiring words, and look forward to the time I can forget where all the dials and knob on my camera are, and be comfortable just seeing and clicking the interesting things that surround me.

I can’t wait to watch the complete workshop through the downloads when they’re ready, and reading more of your words in print. Thank you.

i really enjoyed your views, guidance and presentation throughout the session, and i managed to acquire a great deal of new ideas and approaches for my photography. thank you.

A couple of late nights in Australia but I managed to catch several hours of the broadcast and it was fascinating, thank you :) It is a tough subject but I thought you covered it very eloquently. Looking forward to my downloadable copy now!
